Students with degrees in religious studies, theology or comparative religion can go on to careers in ministry, counseling or research. Some graduates of religious studies programs practice ministry in a church, temple or mosque, sometimes specializing in children’s, high school or college groups. Students with musical skills may write hymns or join worship choirs or bands. Many religious organizations offer couples and family counseling as part of their ministry.
